A unique opportunity has arisen for a job share position on the Tiwi Islands.
These would be full-time live-in positions (3 months on, 3 months off, shared with existing Managers) on beautiful Melville Island.
These positions will best be suited for a fully experienced mature, energetic couple not wishing
to fully retire.
You will possess between you, a mixed skill set. You will be accountable for the daily operation of
a community store and takeaway.

Responsibilities
All financial operations including, but not limited to, sales, gross profit and loss, stock controls,
data entry, ordering, opening/closing procedures.
Build solid relationships with stakeholders and service providers in the community.
Implement staff rosters and manage wage budgets.
Oversee and if necessary, run a fast-paced takeaway: cook, managing staff and weekly rosters.
Manage stocktakes.
Maintain a clean safe workplace environment, including the supplied accommodation and vehicles.
Skills and experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Previous experience working and living remote as a couple
Proven leadership and organisational skills.
Proven financial/administrative and stock control skills
Computer literacy and capability to learn new software.
Requirements
Manual driver’s license.
Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
Ochre card or ability to obtain one.
A current police clearance.
