Housing Engagement Officer
Emama Nguda Aboriginal Corporation (ENAC) is a not-for-profit,
Indigenous Community-based and managed charitable organisation governed
by a Board, all of whom are elected by members of the organisation. ENAC
has been operating in the Derby/Malarabah Region for the past 20 years.
Emama Nguda Aboriginal Corporation delivers a remote housing
program, strategic business development and enterprise opportunities for
local Indigenous people.
ENAC is seeking Expression of Interest Housing Engagement Officer
This position is subject to a three (3) month probationary period
and will be offered on the basis of a fixed-term contract until 30 June
2019; with potential for an additional year’s extension.
ENAC is seeking someone with experience in housing management,
data systems, report writing, and working with indigenous people. This
person will also be responsible for ensuring all activity reporting is
accurate and completed within agreed timeframes. Travel to the
communities, many of which are remote, will be required.
A Passion for assisting with the housing needs of Indigenous people in remote communities is required for this position.
