Opportunities exist with Ngaanyatjarra Council Aboriginal Corporation (NCAC) for CDP Engagement Officers to join our team working on the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. About The Roles

These roles have a strong focus on quality Case Management as well as a willingness to be pro-active in working with other programs and developing WfD Activities in communities.

Case Management

The CDP Engagement Officers will be required to have, or be willing to gain an understanding of integrated case management services to CDP Job Seekers. This will involve engaging with Job Seekers to gain an understanding of their goals and personal barriers, developing job plans, regularly meeting with and providing ongoing support and working with the Job Seeker to improve their employability. Accuracy and a general understanding of IT processes associated with Employment & Community Services Network (ECSN). (Case Management will also be actively supported by the Compliance Team in our call centre in Perth).

Activity Planning And Supervision

The CDP Engagement Officers will be required to engage with CDP Job Seekers to facilitate and implement Work for the Dole (WfD) activities with the aim of providing pathways to suitable employment opportunities. WfD participants will be encouraged to engage in activities that will add value to their community and all residents, including such activities as supporting other programs in community such as aged care and health services, community office support, school attendance, community maintenance and beautification, grass/weed management, fire breaks and fence repairs.
