  • Annual Salary: $53,352 per annum pro rata (above Award): ($27.00/hour)
  • Annual Leave: 20 days pro rata paid Annual Leave (with Leave Loading)
  • Accommodation: Provided free of charge (Shared with Casual Store Assistant)
  • Vehicle: Provided for work use.

  • Extras: Commences early May 2019 and concludes at the end of season (determined by climate, usually November)

 

 

• Employed by Imintji Aboriginal Community to oversee the management of one of the departments of this entity.
• Responsible for the day to day operational management, staff management and general coordination of the ongoing daily delivery of services at the Store to the Community.
• Work with the senior management to enhance the services and financial performance of the Store.
• Maintain adequate supplies and infrastructure to ensure appropriate goods and services are supplied in a timely manner and reasonable cost to Community residents.
• Ensure plant and equipment are in good working order and down-time is minimised.
• At the direction of senior management, assist or deliver related projects and contribute to the development of strategies and initiatives that support the whole community.
• Provide financial reports from the Point of Sale software and written operations report on a monthly basis to the CEO.
• Liaise with Bookkeeper re Retail Manager or MYOB issues
• No commitments should be given to resource allocations/reallocations without prior written approval from the CEO
• Manage Human resources requirements on a daily basis and to ensure that future requirements are managed;
• Oversee the provision of training to staff to ensure adequate supplies of cross-trained/versatile staff are available at all times.
• Ensure plant and equipment are in good working order and down-time minimised;
• Oversee stock and cash requirements are sufficient to enable a smooth running of the business;
• Provide advice to senior management and other stakeholders about issues relating to the operations of the business, at the request of the CEO;
• Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Store operations;
• Research, analyse, investigate and prepare recommendations for improvement to Store operations.
• Work effectively to maintain supportive, cooperative and positive relationships both within the Imintji Community Store team and with Management staff.
• Provide excellent customer service in your role and encourage and drive optimal service provision amongst your team.
• Maintain effective and respectful verbal and written communication with suppliers, customers and staff at all times.
• As directed by management, assist in delivery of related projects and contribution to the development of strategies and initiatives that support the whole community;
• Perform other duties as required and directed by management.
