About Indulkana
lndulkana (lwantja) is an Anangu community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the north west of South Australia. It lies approximately 575 km south of Alice Springs. It is located 70 km away from Mimili community and approximately 195 km from Umuwa; the administrative centre of the APY Lands. The Community is located on a small ridge at the edge of the lndulkana Ranges. Access to lndulkana Community is via all sealed roads. The population of lwantja ranges between 200 and 360 people, including a number of Piranpa (non-Aboriginal people) who work in the community to support Anangu. The majority of people at lwantja refer to themselves as Yankunytjatjara, which is a group having its origins in the eastern section of the Lands. There is a school, art centre, health clinic, and store.
lndulkana Community Store Aboriginal Corporation are seeking either two individuals or a couple as Store Managers working 10.5 days on with 3 days off.
Duties
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Assist in preparing stock orders
- Receiving goods, unloading and stacking in store.
- Ensure that the stores operations comply with all relevant Laws and By Laws.
- Assist in stock takes
- Assist in daily cash ups, POS balancing
- Assist with ATM controls and balancing
