The primary role of the CEO is to provide leadership and management of the Corporation, working across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.

Oversee the management and implementation of the Municipal & Essential Services Funding (MUNS) and other strategies and projects. Develop and implement plans to work proactively with communities and their councils to build rapport, trust and engagement with projects and objectives. Develop, manage and implement strategic plan priorities, including the progression of economic development initiatives by JBAC and community members.

Develop, maintain and improve financial management systems appropriate to the scope and size of the organisation. Maintain effective systems and processes for the management and maintenance of corporation assets. Represent JBAC in the areas of stakeholder engagement, networking and communication for the purposes of building and maintaining JBAC’s reputation, sourcing regional opportunities, fostering partnerships and collaboration. Represent the organisation as required on regional boards and committees.
