Assistant Station Manager / Head Stockperson

AAC are looking to fill a new position of Station Manager / Head Stockperson on their cattle station, situated between Cue and Meekatharra (WA). The station will work in conjunction with our other stations to finish AAC’s Angus Senepol/ Brahman herds progeny for domestic and live export trades. The successful applicant will possess the following attributes, but not limited to:

  • Strong livestock skills, both breeding and feeding.
  • An interest in breeding genetics improvement.
  • Skills in welding, fencing, basic mechanical work, record-keeping, and electronic monitoring of cattle.
  • Maintenance and installation of solar pumps and windmill repairs.
  • An interest in, and knowledge of cattle nutrition and feeding.
  • Mustering via buggies and helicopters (horses will be used for livestock monitoring and weaning).
